The Create Expo runs annually and invites established talent from the creative arts industry to visit the college and inspire students and members of the public with a series of talks and presentations.
Guest speakers for 2016 included ex-student Jim Kay, who studied art and design at the college in 1992. Jim has since seen great success working on the special illustrated Harry Potter Books.
Glen Southern; a freelance digital sculptor, who has had success with characters created for the British/American horror drama series Penny Dreadful.
Amy Smith was also in attendance to talk about Framestore – a company which makes digital images, content and design for the advertising, entertainment and film industries.
The event was supported by students who were also able to share the work produced for their course portfolios with guests on the day.
