NCS is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for 15-17 year-olds. It’s a chance to get active, meet new people and experience new things. You will also learn new skills that you wouldn’t normally get the chance to do in college; doing so will improve your confidence and conquer your fears.
NCS will also look great on your CV – 45% of people who do the programme get into their first choice university and 55% get the first full time job that they apply for.
Our resident chaplain, Konrad Schäfer, is a pastor at a local church in Mansfield. He also works with the college to provide spiritual support for both staff and students and raise awareness of faith and faith related issues within the college.
Konrad often conducts tutorials on different faiths, and faith-related issues such as extremism. To attend these events, simply check Moodle, the SU Facebook page and posters around the college to get the latest details.
