Celebrated chef Sat Bains inspires young talent

The college has had many high profile visitors over the years, who visit to share their knowledge and inspire out students.

In May 2016, Michelin-star chef Sat Bains ( whose restaurant current ranks as no.1 in the Sunday Times Top 100 Restaurants list) visited our hospitality and cookery students to partake in a question and answer session which looked at the route towards a rewarding career in the industry.

Toni King, studying the Level 2 in Culinary Skills said: “Sat really inspires me and is somebody I look up to. He’s reached a level that I want to be at in the future and because he started out like us, it shows that if he can do it – we can too – and that gives me the strength to want to succeed.”
