In May 2017, Level 3 health and care students visited the Four Seasons Shopping Centre in Mansfield where they put on interactive health stands, and provided members of the public with information on everything from legal highs and alcohol abuse, to mental health issues and preventing obesity.
Students on the Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care spent four weeks planning and arranging their own health advice fair which took place at the college in November 2015.
The health advice fair saw students offering advice to their peers on a range of health matters including alcohol, safe sex and mental health.
Students created stalls which were dressed with health information, info-graphics and information leaflet, which other students at the college commended.
