If you choose to study an animal care course at West Notts, you’ll get the opportunity to work off-campus at a local farm park – learning the skills needed to work with animals.

Foundation learning courses cover a number of topics designed specifically to get you ready for your next step. From learning basic communication skills, to giving you the confidence to live independently, you’ll find something to suit your individual needs.
Courses are available in developing skills for employment, with some requiring you to take part in work placements; from working in the college training kitchens – to learning how to look after animals on an animal care course.
Working with animals can be both enjoyable and rewarding. To work with animals, our animal care students need to be equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to allow them to turn their passion into a potential career.
